Suncoast Voices for Children is stationed in the Child Protection Investigators’ offices to provide immediate assistance for the needs of abused and neglected children.

While support for children in foster care is needed, safely preventing children from entering foster care in the first place leads to better outcomes. Young people who were formerly in foster care are also far more likely to endure homelessness, poverty, compromised health, unemployment and incarceration as adults. That’s why Voices helps to prevent children from entering foster care and, when that’s not possible, provides for both basic needs and fun to let our kids be kids.

With your help, we can keep children placed safely with family members and provide for their needs when no one else can. You can sponsor the needs of children when they are at their lowest, most difficult time. When you’re their Voice, they will know that someone is listening, and that someone cares.

How You Can Help?

You can make a difference in the lives of these children. We receive no federal or state government funding, so in order for us to keep helping kids, we need people just like you to give to our mission. When you support children in need through Suncoast Voices for Children, you invest in a local cause that aids vulnerable children who have been separated from their families and helps prevent other children from becoming vulnerable. We have many ways you can partner with us to achieve our goals!

Thanks To Our Community Partners!

The Giving Voice Circle: Lifting voices through lasting generosity.

The Giving Voice Circle is our community of monthly donors committed to standing with children in foster care all year long. With a consistent gift each month, you help meet urgent needs quickly, providing essentials like beds, clothing, therapy, and more. It’s an easy way to make a lasting impact, one month at a time.

Donation Drives

Host a donation drive to help collect some of our most needed essentials. Reach out to us to secure marketing materials.

Other Ways to Get Involved

Host a fundraiser: Plan an event like a benefit dinner, charity auction, or themed party.

What is a Third-Party Fundraise?

A third-party fundraiser is any event or activity organized by a business, school, community group, or individual to benefit Suncoast Voices for Children. These events are planned and carried out independently from our staff, but they make a real impact on the children we serve.

They’re also a great way to bring people together, give back locally, and get creative while supporting a good cause. Below are a few examples to get you started—but feel free to choose something that fits your group’s style and goals.

Before you get started, please complete the third-party agreement form and download our guidelines and policies.

Estate Planning

Leave a Legacy That Speaks for Them

At Suncoast Voices for Children, we’re committed to standing with foster children—not just today, but for the long haul. One powerful way to extend that support is through a legacy gift. By including us in your estate plans, you can help ensure vulnerable children continue to have access to safety, stability, and opportunity for years to come.

Legacy giving, also known as planned giving, is a meaningful way to support our mission beyond your lifetime. It’s a chance to leave a lasting mark—one that keeps speaking up for kids long after you’re gone.

  • Bequests in Your Will: Leave a gift in your will—it can be a specific amount, a percentage, or what’s left after other wishes are fulfilled.
  • Life Insurance: Name Suncoast Voices for Children Foundation as a beneficiary of your policy.
  • Charitable Trusts: Consider options like charitable remainder or lead trusts, which can offer tax benefits and sustained support for our work.
